The Baroque Trend...is Going to Make Me Broke!

(Photo:IMAXtree Elle.com)
The Baroque trend was seen on many of the runways like D&G for fall of 2012. Personally, I used to think that the Baroque trend was a little too flamboyant for my taste but after seeing the different ways it has been incorporated into fashion items. I definitely changed my mind.

I've picked out a few items from ASOS and Zara that channel the Baroque trend that fit my own personal style. However being a very broke college student...Baroque (broke) is going to be my personal fall 2012 trend. :P

These trousers from Zara are a subtle take on the Baroque trend. They can be worn any where! I'm really thinking of getting these...but I haven't made up my mind yet.
I LOVE LOVE this beaded clutch. I picture it with a simple all over white or black outfit with some simple pumps. However at $86...it's not going to be mine :(
Zara Baroque Printed T-Shirt $25.90
This T-Shirt looks so comfy but the cool Baroque design makes it a great way to incorporate the trend no matter your style.

How are you going to incorporate the Baroque trend into your wardrobe?

Sleep In More: Fast and Quick Make Up for School/Work

With so much to do in our busy lives, there's almost never enough time to do it all. Sleep is usually the only thing we can cut back on. An extra 15 or 20 minutes can mean a lot! With this easy tutorial that should take you less than 5 minutes, you can sleep in and still look put together to face the day ahead! (no pun intended...)
All you will need are the items in the picture above.
  1. BB Cream/Foundation
  2. Concealer
  3. Powder
  4. Powder Brush
  5. Tinted Lip Balm
  6. Eye Lash Curler
  7. Mascara
  8. Cream Blush
First Step: Dot your BB cream or foundation on the five areas of your face as shown and spread evenly with your fingers. This allows for quick application. Make sure your hands are clean!
Second Step: Cover your under eye area with a waterproof concealer to hide any dark circles. Also dot on any imperfections. The concealer should match your skin tone. Use your ring finger to pat in the concealer to avoid damaging the fragile skin under the eyes.
Third Step: Lightly sweep loose powder over entire face with a powder brush. I'm using the Guerlain meteorites powder which has different colored pearls that create a flawless finish.
All that should take you only a minute or two! Flawless complexion? CHECK

Fourth Step: Apply cream blush to both eyelids, as eyeshadow, and also on the cheeks. Spread it out with your fingers. (I look like a clown in first picture :P)
Fifth Step: Curl your lashes and add lots of mascara. This helps open the eyes and creates the illusion of eyeliner. Eyes? CHECK in only two easy steps :D
Last Step: Apply a tinted lip balm which not only moisturizes but also adds some color and life into the lips.
That's It! Piece of Cake right? Now go make better use of your time conquering the world! Muahahha

Outfit of The Day: Breezy Day!

First time wearing this maxi skirt from American Apparel. My favorite shoes from the outlet and my only pair of wedges so far. They make me feel like a skyscraper!

Celebrating the last few days of summer before I have to go back to school. Bleh :( Blogger decided that my blog is a spam blog so waiting for them to clear me out.  You know that feeling of not knowing what you did wrong...but you feel like you might have done something wrong? I'm innocent REALLY!!! T_T

Hopefully they'll decide I'm not a spam blogger...because I'm not...I don't even know what spam blogging is. 囧

Summer Memories (An Outfit from Summer)

These are some old outfit of the day photos from August. I had just gotten this dress on sale at a local boutique shop at the mall. It even came with a necklace! This dress has great quality, design and is just my style. It was tucked away in between hangers and unnoticed by others. It was Fashion Destiny!

I love how soft the material is and the sleeves have a really special design. I wore it with leggings and a cardigan that day but wanted to show off the cool sleeves in these photos. I think I'll wear these in the fall too. Maybe with a long sleeve shirt underneath?

Please excuse the mess on my bed...it's usually like that but I try to clean up before taking photos ^_^'' hehe...

More posts coming soon!!! Tell me what you think in the comments below

The Re..Beginning of My Journey!

Hey everyone!

So some of you might know that I started "The Artistically Challenged" on my tumblr but realized that I couldn't easily write long posts. So...here we are, in our new home :) How does it look?

I spent a lot of time setting it up and hopefully through time it'll get better little by little.

So if you're new here I'll begin by telling you my intentions of starting yet another fashion blog in the already clogged blogosphere. Some one once said that if you felt like you didn't have an outlet where you can be heard and you have a lot to say...you should start a blog. Ok so that summary of a quote might not be that accurate but you get what I mean.

I want to share my love for all things fashion and beauty with you all :) I like to describe it as a fashion blog with a sprinkle of beauty and personal life. A blog doesn't have to be defined so well I guess and it might later transform into other things but I guess this blog is about me...and sharing myself with the world.

I hope you enjoy the content on my blog and be inspired from it, learn from it or just laugh AT it!

If you want more of my personal life and interests (music and dramas) please follow me on Tumblr.
If you want to talk to me more then follow me on twitter and like me on Facebook!
If you just like looking at my pictures and my collection of other fashion pictures, follow me on Pinterest!
Oh and last but not least, I hope to sing a bit, make indie movies, Vlog and also fashion videos on my YouTube Channel.

They are all linked on the side bar or in the tabs bar up above so check those out

If you have any comments or questions feel free to contact me at
